About the Artwork
"Chicago +Michigan" is one of the six pieces from the "Chicago in Winter" series. Inspired by moments of urban beauty, these pieces draw upon the warm feelings the city can evoke even on the coldest days.
 
"Chicago + Michigan" captures the iconic Magnificent Mile in a light-filled, seasonal moment. The image features the Wrigley building, built in the '20s, in the distance. The journaled words "thank God,"  "trust the process," "intention," and  "sacred action" anchor the piece, serving as reminders to align with the Magnificent.
 
Using a layering technique with an original printed photo, the "Chicago in Winter" pieces are one of a kind with no prints made. Piece comes unframed and can be floated on a mat for a larger piece or framed closer to highlight the details.
