Alyson Lyon Arts, LLC is based in Chicago in the Fine Arts Building.

About Alyson 
I'm a lifelong artist with a background in performance, writing and education. I hold a BFA from DePaul University's Theatre School and a M. Ed in Secondary Education from DePaul University's School of Education. I trained in makeup artistry at Makeup First Chicago and worked makeup in all media for close to a decade, informing my approach to layers, balance, color and texture. I've also studied Figure Drawing at Palette and Chisel in Chicago.  My art has been exhibited in Chicago, is held in private collections across the US and is featured on Wescover.com  .

In addition to my art practice, I'm a professional actor (click here for my acting reel), award-winning screenwriter and have taught high school English + Theatre, Reiki and yoga.
