I work in layers in both form and content, across disciplines: writing, performance, mixed media. I address universal spiritual themes; unity, trusting the process and accessing the light within permeate my work. My process is meditative, intuitive, and experimental. Daily journaling is essential for me - it's the means through which I declutter my mind, work through ideas and record inspiration. My journals often appear ripped up in my mixed media work, symbolic of releasing the past, serving as a general reminder to stay present. The handwritten words chosen for a composition often add an additional layer of meaning. I create higher vibrational, visceral experiences that invite closer inspection, reflection and resonance. I'm a Chicago artist.
